Business Requirement

A fast-growing medical devices company was looking for an end-to-end recruitment management solution to streamline its hiring process and coordinate the activities of recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers.

Solution

We were brought in to recommend the right platform that could provide a comprehensive solution, satisfying all their requirements, in the shortest possible time. Force.com was the obvious choice. Given the requirements, it had to be an entirely custom application without using any of the standard objects. A new object model was designed, role hierarchy appropriately mapped, and workflow rules for in-house custom recruitment processes defined. The project also involved multiple page payouts, validation rules, triggers, reports and VisualForce components.

The application allowed users to track candidates through the interview process, manage open positions, post interview feedback, alert recruiters and employees about newly opened positions, and provide summary reports to senior management.
